08.25.06 Three things: (1) Yep, deerpen is soon going the way of the real deer in the real pen. The 12th deer has died, and with it, our passion for the fruit. So we'll still be around, but it will be slightly different. (2) We were interviewed by Erin Tarabini and then she wrote an interesting (and thorough) article about deerpen in The Buzz. Check it out here. (3) We have a couple of shows coming up... and then that's all folks. Our myspace page may have news-slash-promotional-material sometime in the future, so it might not hurt to check that out, but deerpen.com will be fairly stagnant, most likely. Being in the band has been a lot of fun... thanks to all of you who have made it fun by bringing your selves out to the shack to boogie and shake. We'll miss you the most, you big tangly dander-bum.
